This large cruise and event boat, anchored at the Pest foot of the Chain Bridge, can accommodate up to 600 passengers, a capacity largely influenced on the weather as a significant part of the MS Hunyadi is occupied by the open deck with its panorama glass walls inherent in its cruise boat status, in addition to the enclosed restaurant spaces better suited to events. The huge open deck offers a memorable trip in the spring, the summer and the autumn as well.
Like all other boats in the MAHART fleet, the Hunyadi is blue and white on the outside, while the interior is dominated by blue and the beige wood paneling. There are two separate restaurants on the lower deck. The front section is finished in the blue-grey colors characteristic of the entire boat, both in upholstery and draperies, while the restaurant in the stern of the boat is in softer orange and brown colors.
It is the huge open deck areas mentioned above that make the Hunyadi a prime choice for a really memorable event or trip. The glass walls of the bow compartment offer the illusion of boundless freedom, probably even making passengers forget about the boat between them and the Danube. Up front it is the glass walls, while in the back it is the bar area and its beer tap that can make the cruise even more pleasant.
In addition to the upper deck, passengers on the Hunyadi can also opt to use the lower sightseeing section to get a view of the panorama from a vantage point even closer to the water as the boat enters the Danube bend on its way to Esztergom or Visegrád.
As on all larger boats of MAHART PassNave, the Hunyadi has also been made accessible to handicapped passengers, who can now use a separate washroom right next to the entrance.
The technical equipment is well suited for the requirements of events held on board and includes an amplifier, CD player, an audio mixer and a microphone.

Cruise boat programs constitute a significant percentage of MAHART PassNave Passenger Shipping Ltd's business. Passengers embarking on such trips can take any of the six 250-seater Moscow-class boats mentioned above to the deservedly famous locations of the Danube bend, including Esztergom and Visegrád, or to Szentendre to the north, or to Százhalombatta to the south of Budapest.
During our passenger area reconstruction program in 2006 and 2007, three of the six boats went through complete interior redesign and reconstruction, while the other three were partially refurbished. We plan to complete the renovation of all cruise boats in our fleet by 2008.

The closed interior compartments of the MS Esztergom, the MS Sződliget and the MS Visegrád are of the same high quality as seen on our event boats and are in line with the expectations of passengers. The choice of coverings and draperies used on all renovated cruise boats are just as pleasant and tasteful as our event boats. All six boats include a snack bar in the stern section, and there is a bar corner on the Esztergom, the Sződliget and the Visegrád to make the trip to the Danube bend all the more pleasant.

The lower deck of these cruise boats is fitted with rows of benches or chairs, similar to the configuration above on the upper deck, which is open to the sides.
We recommend these boats primarily for organized groups of adults or children or for company events with a focus on the excursion itself. Such groups typically rent the boats of MAHART for a flat fee under certain set conditions, and organize their programs or trips with or without landings as required.

The external appearance of all six boats remains faithful to the blue and white colors of MAHART.
All six boats include a sound system covering the entire boat, a CD player and, if required, a microphone.

Our MS Duna Corso boat, which currently operates as a sightseeing cruise boat in Budapest during the season, was completely renovated in January 2006 as part of the boat reconstruction program mentioned earlier, receiving a completely new look both inside and on the outside, and a new name as well.
The former MS Verőce cruise boat can carry 150 passengers and is making 12 round trips a day in the high season, taking foreign visitors and domestic passengers on a guided tour in 10 languages.

In addition to interior coverings and equipment, the electronic equipment installed on the boat was also upgraded during renovation, and the Duna Corso is now an ideal and comfortable location for presentations or small trade conferences throughout the year thanks to its HVAC system. Its configuration of rows of seats and the exclusive bar located in the back of the boat make it a more pleasant and unique location for the types of events mentioned above than other customary and often-used event locations.

Despite changes to the Duna Corso, the company remained faithful to the blue and white associated with the image of MAHART, which in this case also characterizes the interior of the boat. The interior covering of the closed passenger compartment consists of grey carpets and dark blue velvet upholstery. Thanks to the spacious seating and wide aisles, the enclosed space on the boat could be an ideal location for presentations of meetings, or even comfortable and well-organized product presentations.
Installation of additional technical equipment required for the presentations is possible under prior arrangement.

The DUNA CORSO is primarily recommended for larger groups, companies, organised children and adult groups for sightseeing in Budapest in the winter season from November till March.
Onboard there is a head-set equipment for 100 persons to hear our seigthseeing program in 11 languages (UK and US english, german, french, italian, spanish, russian, hebrew, japanese and chines or hungarian).
